by Streetscape Architecture. The grand re-opening was held in early
June for a Shell facility that was transformed from run-down service
station into contemporary convenience store/petroleum site in the
trendy, revitalized Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago.

Facts on Newly-Opened Site Facelift:
1.
Cost savings realized, and architectural appeal enhanced, by
saving the building structure as opposed to razing the old service
station. Use of specialized architect to employ value engineering
in design process saves additional 20% on overall cost of building.

Newly-built convenience store uses strong architectural features;
including expansive glass-front to enhance view of retail offerings
and boost revenues and strategic design calls for reuse of wood
beam cathedral ceilings to open up interior space.

Building receives new exterior "skin" in the form of
synthetic stucco facade that creates a clean, attractive and bright
appearance that is both attractive and easy to maintain.

Skylights inside retail facility create large, open and airy
space for brightness expanded space and added appeal to retail
